Introduction:

We are seeking passionate Software Engineer Interns to join Cisco’s innovative engineering team in Bangalore. As an intern, you will work on real-world projects in areas such as Network/Embedded/Application Development, gaining hands-on experience while collaborating with industry leaders to drive technological advancements in Cisco’s product portfolio.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will:

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of software for Cisco’s networking or embedded systems products.
• Work under the supervision of senior engineers to implement and debug code.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to solve technical challenges.
• Assist in documenting code and technical processes for project deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and integration.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong academic performance with a minimum CGPA of 7.0/10 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic networking concepts.
• Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Linux, embedded systems, or network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP).
• Experience with development tools like Git, Jenkins, or Eclipse.
• Prior internship or project experience in software development or networking.
• Knowledge of network security, IoT, or cloud computing concepts.
