Introduction:

We are seeking a passionate Graduate Software Engineer to join Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s dynamic team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will contribute to building mission-critical cloud-based solutions, collaborating with global teams to solve complex technical challenges and drive innovation in HPE’s Cloud Services portfolio.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will:

  • Develop and maintain cloud application modules per feature specifications, adhering to security policies.
  • Design test plans and execute/automate test cases for assigned application components.
  • Deploy code and debug issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with peers, technical contributors, and managers to review innovative technical ideas.
  • Analyze science, engineering, or business data processing problems to implement solutions for complex applications, system administration, or network concerns.
  • Contribute to efficient delivery, deployment, operation, and support of cloud engagements.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
  • 0–2 years of experience in software development.
  • Programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies and work well with team members.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, such as continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Experience with cloud architectures or microservices.
  • Knowledge of full-stack development or distributed computing.
