Introduction:
We are seeking a passionate Graduate Software Engineer to join Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s dynamic team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will contribute to building mission-critical cloud-based solutions, collaborating with global teams to solve complex technical challenges and drive innovation in HPE’s Cloud Services portfolio.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will:
- Develop and maintain cloud application modules per feature specifications, adhering to security policies.
- Design test plans and execute/automate test cases for assigned application components.
- Deploy code and debug issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with peers, technical contributors, and managers to review innovative technical ideas.
- Analyze science, engineering, or business data processing problems to implement solutions for complex applications, system administration, or network concerns.
- Contribute to efficient delivery, deployment, operation, and support of cloud engagements.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in software development.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies and work well with team members.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, such as continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Experience with cloud architectures or microservices.
- Knowledge of full-stack development or distributed computing.
